7 Overreactions to Week 7 Fantasy Football (+Week 8 Waiver Targets)

📋 Week 7 is in the books, four more teams are on bye in Week 8, and we’re overreacting to all of it.

Kendall and Pete open with Overreaction Monday. Tony Pollard as a perpetual top-five fantasy back in Seattle. Why the Steelers waited so long to unleash Jaylen Warren. John Harbaugh and Cam Skattebo apparently working things out. Zay Flowers as this year’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Whether Ashton Jeanty is not who we thought he was coming out of college. And Bo Nix seeing the memes about his yards per attempt. Plus Imagine That, presented by Xfinity Shield, on Jonathan Taylor leading the Vikings to a Super Bowl.

Then Real Football vs. Fake Football with former NFL offensive coordinator Scott Turner — what’s behind J.J. McCarthy’s early success in New York, what the 49ers can actually do while they wait for an entire receiver room to get healthy, and how involved coaching staffs really are in trade deadline conversations.

Then It’s Not Me, It’s You, with Pete going at the Texans and Kendall going at the Jets.

Then the Week 8 waiver wire with the Saints, Giants, 49ers and Texans all on bye. J.J. McCarthy and Malik Willis at quarterback. Seth McGowan, Dameon Pierce, Dylan Sampson, Samaje Perine and Jonah Coleman at running back. Omar Cooper, Jakobi Meyers, Antonio Williams, Jordyn Tyson, KC Concepcion and Caleb Douglas at receiver. And Greg Dulcich at tight end.
